Bareve German Wirehaired Pointers were established in 1977 by Sharon and her mother, Barbara. They have produced over 40 UK titleholders including 7 ‘full’ champions and the UK Male and Female Breed record holders.
Maxine founded KIMMAX German Wirehaired Pointers in 1989 and today has 18 title holders including 6 full champions. Passionate and devoted to her breed, she is extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the breed from show to field competition.
Peter is co-owner of KIMMAX German Wirehaired Pointers. A keen rough shooter, he trains and shoots over his own dogs. An active member of the VDD (Verein Deutsch Drahthaar), Peter is the only person in the UK ever to have trained and run Drahthaars at the Hegewald.
